when i hear your voice, everything suddenly becomes silent

it has the power to calm even the most turbulent waves, to make all the oceans listen intently

the whole world pauses for a moment

the water becomes still, unmoved even by the strongest gust of wind

dolphins lift their heads to better hear your words floating above the horizon

i’ve always been afraid of water

i felt uneasy thinking of it as a deep abyss that never ends, a place you can’t escape from

i feared i would get stuck there forever

that i’d start to drown, unable to catch my breath

but when i finally managed to immerse myself in it

all my fear vanished in an instant

i touched the bottom, trying to breathe

and in that moment i felt my insides fill to the brim with silence

a silence that made my body feel peace for the first time

i sat on the bottom of the ocean, looking at the surface i had once seen from afar

and in that moment i decided to stay, even if it meant running out of air

even if the moment was to last only briefly, i would surrender to it fully

i never wanted to leave that place again

because nothing could replace the harmony that surrounded me

listening to the quiet murmur of the waves and your breath, i began to wonder

what’s the point of living in a constant routine that slowly destroys you with each passing day?

the truth is, there is no point — you can’t even call it a real life

and so the bottom became my home

and just as i had imagined, i got stuck there forever

whatever forever means - a day, a month, a year?

i wasn’t trapped from weakness but by my own will that became stronger than the longing for my previous life

the only thing that mattered to me was the desire to be by your side, a desire i couldn’t understand

a desire so powerful that no words - no matter how beautiful or rare - could ever describe it

because it went beyond the human realm, and only in this place could it truly be felt
